Campaign Positions

Fiscal Responsibility

Colorado families work hard for every dollar, and they deserve a government that treats public money with the same care. I believe in transparent budgeting, disciplined spending, and making sure taxpayer dollars are directed toward real priorities instead of waste, bureaucracy, and short-term political fixes. We need leadership that asks tough questions, demands accountability, and focuses on long-term value for the people of House District 27.

Reliable Power & Utility Accountability

Families and businesses should be able to count on reliable power. When utility decisions create major disruptions for communities, there must be accountability and stronger oversight. I support practical solutions that protect public safety while also recognizing that residents, small businesses, and working families cannot be treated as an afterthought. Our communities deserve energy policy that is dependable, responsible, and grounded in common sense.

Wildfire Mitigation & Forest Management

House District 27 includes communities where wildfire risk is a real and ongoing concern. I support practical wildfire mitigation that protects homes, strengthens defensible space, and helps property owners reduce risk around the places people actually live. I do not believe broad, one-size-fits-all approaches are the answer. We need targeted strategies, homeowner support, and policies that improve safety without creating unnecessary costs or unintended consequences.

Strong Schools & Student Focus

Parents and taxpayers deserve schools that are focused on students, academic success, and responsible management. Too often, families lose confidence when leadership loses focus. I believe our schools should put kids first, support teachers, and rebuild trust through transparency, stability, and higher standards. Education policy should be about helping students succeed, not creating more controversy and confusion.

Protecting Neighborhood Schools

Schools are more than buildings — they are part of the identity and stability of a community. Decisions about closures, consolidations, and major changes should be made carefully, transparently, and with a clear understanding of how they affect families and neighborhoods. I believe we should protect strong community schools whenever possible and make sure parents and residents have a real voice in decisions that shape the future of local education.

Outdoor Recreation, Property Rights & Local Balance

House District 27 includes communities that care deeply about open space, recreation, and quality of life. We should work to preserve access to outdoor recreation while balancing the needs of residents, property owners, and different user groups. I believe in practical stewardship, local input, and thoughtful planning that protects both the character of our communities and the freedom of people to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Accountability & Representation

People deserve a representative who listens, communicates clearly, and takes the job seriously. I believe public service is about showing up, being honest with voters, and making decisions in the open. My commitment is simple: I will work to represent House District 27 with transparency, seriousness, and a focus on results.
